The Legal Aid Bureau joined Malawi Human Rights Commission and the rest of the world in commemorating the International Day of Human Rights. The commemoration was done in Ntcheu district, Nkolombo grounds with discussions of ways to achieve equality and eliminating social injustices which are grounds for Inequalities. With the theme Equality: Ending inequalities, advancing human rights, the discussions on the day aimed at making sure that players in the advancement of equalities advance human rights and hence achieving the long fought for equality across global citizens.

The day coincides with the 16th day of the 16 Days of Activism and wraps everything together working to end inequalities. This year's 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence was themed Orange the World
